The error:
error parsing HTTP 400 response body: invalid character
When pushing to QE can be the result of misconfiguration of the config.json.
-
Check that there is an single entry for the URL or IP of the QE instance.

Remove any duplicate entries that may exist

If encrypted passwords are enabled, check that the correct encrypted password is being used.

Rotate the credentials and attempt a
docker login
If none of these solve the issue, attempt a push, immediately collect the logs of the QE, and create a ticket by emailing support@quay.io.
